Sober Living with a Purpose

Fellowship House provides structured, recovery-focused housing for clients enrolled in our PHP and IOP levels of care. More than just a place to stay, our residences are intentional communities that foster peer accountability, stability, and connection—key components of early recovery.

Residents live in a safe, sober environment with curfews, house meetings, drug testing, and communal responsibilities. In this setting, individuals practice real-world skills such as conflict resolution, time management, budgeting, and healthy interpersonal communication.

Living in our residential setting while participating in clinical programming accelerates progress, offering continuity between treatment and life. For many, this bridge is critical for avoiding relapse and preparing for independent living.

Residential Services Include:

  • Gender-specific, supervised housing
  • Peer accountability and community living
  • Daily structure and curfews
  • Case management and recovery planning
  • Integration with PHP and IOP treatment
  • Support with employment, education, and life goals

How does sober living complement clinical treatment programs like PHP or IOP? Sober living provides a structured, substance-free environment that reinforces the therapeutic gains made in treatment by promoting accountability, routine, and peer support.

What expectations and responsibilities do residents have in a sober living home? Residents are typically expected to follow house rules, participate in recovery activities, maintain employment or treatment engagement, and contribute to the household community.

Who is a good fit for sober living, and how is readiness determined? Sober living is best suited for individuals who are committed to recovery but need continued structure and support as they transition toward full independence.
