Meet Catherine.

Catherine Briegel is an experienced medical billing and revenue cycle professional with more than six years of experience in healthcare administration and behavioral health billing. She specializes in medical billing for substance use disorder treatment programs, including PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels of care.

Catherine’s expertise includes charge entry, claims submission and follow-up, payment posting, accounts receivable, insurance verification, billing reconciliation, documentation review, and identifying billing discrepancies to support accurate and timely reimbursement. She has extensive experience working with payer requirements and maintaining compliance-focused billing and documentation practices.

In addition to her billing responsibilities, Catherine has experience supporting HR, payroll and timekeeping, compliance documentation, scheduling, policy updates, and general office administration. She is known for her organization, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to accuracy.

Catherine holds associate degrees in Health Management and Criminal Justice from Luzerne County Community College and is a Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) and Certified Professional Biller (CPB). She brings a strong understanding of healthcare operations and a dedicated, professional approach to supporting both staff and clients.
